The information below is based on current University recommendations. Additional updates may be necessary as the COVID-19 situation evolves. Please continue to check Lehigh’s website for updated information and this page for the most up-to-date space and activity information. 

OFSA Remote Operations

Due to the COVID-19 response, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs will be working remotely starting Wednesday, March 18th. We do not anticipate this to impact our ability to operate as an office or change our capacity to support the students, chapters and councils. Our staff will remain accessible during our regular office hours: Monday - Friday, 8:15am-4:45pm. If you would like to contact OFSA, click here to view inquiry-specific contact information.

New Member Education

Chapters have been asked to work with their Assistant Director, chapter advisor and headquarters staff to develop a plan for new member education. Virtual new member education is encouraged when supported by the national headquarters. If initiation is not possible virtually, chapters can work with their Assistant Director to identify a timeline and plan for initiation in Fall 2020. Accreditation

At this point, Accreditation has been put on hold for the 2019-2020 academic year. Chapters will now be responsible for completing an End of Year Report. Please review the updates by visiting the Accreditation website.

​Access to Chapter Houses

Please read carefully the emails from Housing Services. Move out instructions were sent to residents on 3/12 at 4:15pm in regards to closing and moving out. There is an application residents need to complete in order to identify which of the 4 options for moving out they have chosen. The email can be found here

University Code of Conduct

All University policies and expectations of the Code of Conduct for students remain in full effect and policy violations will continue to be adjudicated virtually. 

2020-2021 Housing Assignments

Chapters should plan to continue working with Housing Servies to assign members to chapter spaces for Fall 2020. Although there may be a delay in when new members are initiated, chapters are encouraged to move forward with the housing assignment process. Housing Services will be in touch to communicate any updated timelines and expectations. 

Chapter & Council Meetings

In order to support the continuation of remote operations, OFSA has created individualized Zoom meeting spaces with a unique ID for chapters and councils that are available at all times. 

Chapter & Council Events & Programs

All non-essential gatherings of 10 or more people are strongly discouraged until communicated otherwise. Organizers should postpone meetings and events, or consider remote technology. Chapters and councils are strongly encouraged to practice social distancing and therefore cancel or postpone any scheduled events/programs for the remainder of the semester. This includes sisterhood/brotherhood events, programs, philanthropy events, etc.

Social Events

All non-essential gatherings of 10 or more people are strongly discouraged until communicated otherwise. Organizers should postpone meetings and events, or consider remote technology. Chapters are strongly encouraged to practice social distancing and therefore cancel or postpone any scheduled social events for the remainder of the semester. This includes any events registered with IFC and Third-Party Vendor events such as date parties, formals, semi-formals, etc.

Live-in Graduate Assistant Interviews

The Live-in Graduate Assistant (GA) Program is being postponed until the 2020-2021 academic year. More information can be found on the Live-in Graduate Assistant website.  

Roster Day

Roster Day will still be happening remotely. Ashley Strause will be in touch with Chapter Presidents and Secretaries to coordiante the verification of rosters. 

All-Greek Council Meeting

The All-Greek Council meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 19 has been cancelled. At this point, the meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 9th will take place virtually.
