Sophomore Escape is a community program hosted by the Office of Student Engagement during the Great Pocono Escape to allow sophomore students to build meaningful relationships and develop leadership and personal skills. There is no payment for students and we cover lodging, travel, and food. Buses will leave at 4 pm on Friday, September 9th, and will return back to campus on Sunday, September 11th by 1 pm. You must be available the entire weekend. Have questions? You can email Nick Christy at

Sophomore pLUnge

Students will opt in to actively participate in connecting and applying experiences in the 5 Foundations for Student Success in relation to their goals. If you go on to create a bLUeprint project and present it, you will receive an additional incentive and an opportunity for funding for an educational program or professional development opportunity.  In the fall, you choose and reflect on your 5 in-depth experiences and then apply it through your impact project in the spring.
