Trauma-informed yoga is a research proven way to help survivors of sexual trauma and those experiencing vicarious and secondary trauma heal from their trauma symptoms. It is a combination of focused breathing and mindfulness skills, as well as healing poses. Trauma-informed yoga is an opportunity to learn how to work with your own discomforts. It is a judgment free zone where every participant is able to go at their own pace and skill level. The practice is not meant to be a high cardio or strength training workout, it focuses on grounding, breathing, and mindfulness with comfortable, stretching poses. Our instructor, Liz Jordon, is certified in trauma-informed practice. The instructor does not leave her own mat and will never touch participants to adjust their pose throughout the practice. It is a space where your body is entirely yours. Students, faculty, and staff of all gender identities at all levels of healing from primary, secondary, and vicarious trauma are welcome and can benefit from trauma-informed yoga.

These sessions are a great place for students to get started on applying their creativity and entrepreneurial mindset to a real-world Venture Project. We'll begin by talking about the problem, need, want, or desire you have identified and then we'll help you to figure out what to do next. This is a casual, judgment free, drop-in session intended to help you to get thoughts out of your head and into the world. Before applying to pitch on stage at a EUREKA! Pitch Night, we strongly suggest that everyone starts here! We are here to help you jumpstart your Venture Project, refine and fine-tune your pitch presentation, and even provide some funding to help you keep developing your idea! No appointment necessary, but space is limited, so we recommend you RSVP on LINC. If you are unavailable to join us at this time, no matter the week, please feel free to schedule a time to meet with us. Hosted by: Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity & Innovation Additional Information can be found at: https://lehigh.campuslabs.com/engage/event/10594491
