This will be a cultural event where participants gather to engage in the traditional art of tapa cloth painting. Tapa cloth, also known as ngatu, is a type of bark cloth made from the inner bark of certain trees, primarily the paper mulberry tree. In Tongan culture, tapa cloth holds significant cultural and social importance and is used in various ceremonies, rituals, and as clothing, decorations, and gifts.
