Academic Coaching & Educational Support
The ACES (Academic Coaching & Educational Support) program is comprised of a group of students who are eager to achieve their definitions of academic success In this four week series, you will identify steps to reach your academic goals, enhance your study skills, and learn from fellow cohort members. Sessions will provide time for reflection, an interactive activity based on the week's topic, and space for you to share about successful academic strategies.
Ultimately, we hope to provide you with a group to keep you accountable in a comfortable, relaxed environment for students who want to achieve their potential.
Weekly Overview
Week 1: Goal Setting, Procrastination, and Motivation
Week 2: Time Management and Preparing for Class
Week 3: Study Strategies and Text Book Reading
Week 4: Self Care and Moving Forward
Anyone who could benefit from enhancing their learning and study skills should apply to the ACES program! This program will be especially impactful for first-year and transfer students, students returning from time away from campus, students on academic probation, and students who desire to perform academically.
ACES takes place on Tuesdays on the following dates: March 28th, April 4th, April 11th, and April 18th. There are two group sessions available: 11:00am-11:45am in person and 3:00pm-3:45pm on Zoom. You can select your preferred group in the sign up form.
There are 10-20 students in each ACES cohort.
