In an emergency or crisis situation

If it is an emergency and someone needs immediate care:

  • Call Campus Police at 610 758 4200 or 911 and ask for assistance.
  • Call the Dean of Students (DOS) office at 610 758 4156 and ask for assistance.

If you are in crisis during regular office hours, please consider one of the following options:

  • Call UCPS receptionist at 610 758 3880 and communicate your wish for assistance.
  • Call the Dean of Students (DOS) office at 610 758 4156 and ask for assistance. If the student is a graduate student, you may also want to include Associate Dean of Graduate Students, Kathleen Hutnik (8- 3648 or kaha@lehigh.edu) on communication. 
  • Call Campus Police at 610 758 4200 and ask for assistance. 

If it is after hours:

  • Dial 610 758 3880, select “0” on the keypad, and talk to the counselor on call.
  • Go to the nearest Emergency Room if you need immediate assistance.

If you are concerned about someone other than yourself:

  •  Fill out the Student of Concern form or contact the DOS at 610 758 4156. If the student is a graduate student, you may also want to include Associate Dean of Graduate Students, Kathleen Hutnik (8- 3648 or kaha@lehigh.edu) on communication. 
  •  Call UCPS 610 758 3880 and ask to talk to a counselor about your concern.
  •  Assist the person in getting to the ER if necessary.
