About the Position
The Community Service Office offers mentor positions to all Lehigh students, either as a work-study or volunteer position. As a Lunch Bunch Mentor, you will eat lunch with elementary school students at Donegan Elementary School, have fun and engaging conversations with the students, and serve as a role model and mentor. In this role, you will be able to build meaningful mentoring relationships with these students to help support their growth and success in and outside of the classroom!
Time Commitment
All applicants MUST be available during the 11am-1:30pm time slot on your chosen weekday (any day Monday-Friday). Transportation will be provided to Donegan Elementary School.
Requirements
- All mentors are required to work at least 2 days per week to ensure they can build meaningful mentoring relationships with the students.
- All mentors will be required to submit a (1) Child Abuse Clearance and (2) Criminal Record Check.
- All mentors will be required to complete a set of modules on course site for Working with Minors.
