LU's ASL Club is excited to host a screening of CODA, a critically acclaimed film that highlights the experiences of a Child of Deaf Adults and offers a meaningful portrayal of Deaf representation in media. This event aims to raise awareness about the Deaf community and provide an opportunity to learn more about communication within American Sign Language (ASL). Through the film, attendees will gain insight into the challenges and triumphs faced by Deaf individuals and their families, as well as a deeper appreciation for the importance of inclusive and accessible communication.
