About Tutor Driving
Student Van Drivers are responsible for the transport of in-school ARAC tutors and lunch bunch mentors to and from Donegan Elementary School during the school week. The shifts are Mondays through Fridays as follows:
- 9:15 AM - 9:40 AM
- 11:00 AM - 11:25 AM
- 1:00 PM - 1:25 PM
- 2:50 PM - 3:15 PM
Additional shift details can be found here. There is no minimum amount of shifts that you need to be available for in order to apply.
Driver Qualifications
In order to drive a University vehicle, a candidate must:
- Be at least 18 years old and a full-time graduate or undergraduate student at Lehigh OR be at least 21 years old and a part-time graduate or undergraduate student at Lehigh
- Have a valid domestic driver's license and have at least two (2) years of driving experience in the United States or Canada
- Have and maintain an acceptable driving record
- Be approved through Transportation and Parking Services at Lehigh

No. As part of this role, you would be responsible for driving a University-owned minivan. Use of your own vehicle is not permitted.
No. When applying, you would indicate your availability for the semester you are applying. Availability is collected from all drivers each semester to make a schedule for the full team.
The number of hours you would work each week would depend on your availability. Successful candidates are usually able to work a minimum of two driving shifts per semester.
