Virtual Pick-A-Program

You are here

Want to host a LAD event virtually but unsure where to go from there? Pick-A-Program lays out our most popular programs and YOU get to pick which you would like to host.

Pick-a-Program is a series of popular recurring programs which students and student groups can sponsor and these versions can be safely done from a distance virtually, while still providing a fun atmosphere. LAD provides the basics, such as setting up any virtual programming you select. Your student group is responsible for help with advertising, day-of-event set up (Zoom links, etc), hosting the event, and of course LAD will help guide the way.

Jackbox Games

A variety of interactive virtual games including Quiplash, Trivia Murder Party, Drawful, Fibbage, and more! Max is 8 people per play.

Trivia

Everyone is familiar with the ever-popular Thursday Night Trivia in Hawks Nest; now you can host one on Zoom using Kahoot! We have a LAD staff member to direct you; but, your group makes the questions and choose a theme.

Family Feud

Family Feud: America's favorite family gameshow can be played by you and your friends. This interactive experience is a virtual recreation of the hit show "family feud" where teams compete to figure out the most popular responses to survey questions in order to win prizes. Teams can be randomly assigned or pre-determined. Survey questions can also be designed specifically for your group or organization

Amazing Race

Our Amazing Cyberspace team building event brings the fun of a globetrotting adventure to virtual teams in their own home or office! Using the Zoom Platform, your teams receive a series of clues that point teams around the world. Using Google Maps, teams explore famous cities & landmarks as they compete in challenges and answer location-specific questions. And remember, it’s a race! The first team to complete the challenges in each location and check back in with our host will earn the most points. But teams will have to decide: do you simply finish first, or go for the BONUS

Escape Room

Individuals or teams register on our website and join a video stream that we host.  Once in the video stream, we place them into breakout rooms with their team members (if individuals register to play we will place them in teams) and send them the link to the escape room website.  During the game they communicate with their team members via the video stream to discuss their game and they can request a moderator join their room at any time for help or hints.
