Student Conduct & Community Expectations

You are here

The goal of the conduct process is always to have the students' (or orgs) best interest in mind when we make decisions in these cases. Context matters. The roads that our students have walked to get to us matter.

Starting in fall 2020, incoming UCOD and Appeals Committee members will be trained specifically on implicit/unconscious biases. For returning members (students, faculty, and staff), this training will be mandatory to continue serving in these roles.

The UCOD will host in-service trainings for UCOD/appeals committee members throughout the academic year. At least once per semester the in-service training will include conversations about diversity/inclusion with our advocacy offices or other experts on or off campus.
