Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc. invites you to participate in a powerful act of solidarity and awareness at our Bandana Project event. This initiative is a cornerstone of our chapter's dedication to sexual violence awareness, particularly highlighting the challenges faced by migrant farmworker women. Born from a partnership with the Southern Poverty Law Center in 2007, The Bandana Project serves as a beacon of hope, solidarity, and action against sexual violence in the agricultural sector.

Join Polynesian Student Alliance and Lehigh Tea Club in Spillin' the Tea: Debunking Misconceptions in Polynesia. We hope to foster cultural awareness and debunk common misconceptions surrounding Polynesian cultures during this event. We aim to promote understanding and appreciation of Polynesia's rich heritages.
We will incorporate a rich cultural experience of Kava Tea, which is used in Vanuatu, Tonga, Samoa, Hawaii, and more! Throughout the Pacific Islands, kava has been part of ceremonies since ancient times. The installation of a new village chief, agreements between communities, or the welcoming of an important visitor always includes a kava ceremony. In Tonga, the installment of the king or a noble title is not complete until they conduct a kava ceremony. In addition to ceremonial purposes, kava is highly valued by islanders for its ability to calm and relax individuals struggling with stress, fretfulness, troublesome thoughts, or an inability to sleep and rest. We hope you can join us in Spillin' the Tea: Debunking Misconceptions in Polynesia.

The Lehigh University Debate Team is sending members to compete in the Princeton Debate Tournament. Our team members are participating in parliamentary debate, which challenges them to think critically, build strong arguments, develop an open mind, and master public speaking. As representatives of Lehigh University, LU Debate Team members act as ambassadors for Lehigh's liberal arts education, demonstrating that the Lehigh brand expands far beyond being simply an exemplary engineering and business school. Our members treasure these opportunities to travel to other universities and learn and connect with students affiliated with the American Parliamentary Debate Association. The LU Debate Society prioritizes making opportunities to travel to tournaments accessible to all hard-working students with a passion for debate. We have talked to Nick Christy already.
