SEAL is hosting a Southeast Asian-themed plush-making event for Valentine's Day. Attendees can create felt plushies inspired by national animals like elephants, lions, tigers, and crocodiles. The event includes an informational presentation on diverse Valentine's Day traditions in Southeast Asia. The goal is to acquaint attendees with Southeast Asian Valentine's Day customs and give them the opportunity to craft their own national animal mascot plushies.

This leadership retreat is designed to empower and streamline the efforts of student organizations, with a particular emphasis on addressing the needs of underrepresented groups. By concentrating on conference objectives, participants gain a clearer vision of their future goals and collaborative opportunities. Additionally, identifying the requirements of marginalized student organizations allows the retreat to address their unique challenges effectively. As attendees familiarize themselves with the funding process and navigate through club recognition and university procedures, they build the necessary skills to ensure their organizations flourish. Overall, the emphasis on leadership development fosters an environment that encourages personal growth, resilience, and strategic thinking for student leaders who are striving to make a meaningful difference within their institutions.
