Why do we tend to fall back into the same patterns? Another New Year’s resolution failed, another year gone by…
We are a group of artists and science-artists, exploring the tremendous capacity of the brain for growth, creativity and resilience. Through art, music, storytelling and dance we seek to lower the barriers to scientific understanding, and to convey our belief that creativity is within everyone, and everyone’s reach.
This event will consist of scientific art talk by Dr. Julie Miwa, Associate Professor of Biological Sciences, and interactive art activities (painting, drawing, modeling clay, origami, etc.) in efforts to develop the ideal brain conditions for creativity that allow for self expression, brain heath, emotional resilience and overall wellbeing. Our project is an invitation, one we hope will be an inspiration to people to integrate more creativity in their own lives.
