Focusing on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals of Gender Equality, Quality Education, and partnerships for the Goals. The LU/UN Partnership NGO Youth Representatives will be presenting on topics such as women’s education, human rights, women’s rights, women’s empowerment, and resources for students to access and the connections with SDGs 4 (Quality Education), 5 (Gender Equality) and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). These SDGs are represented around the world so students will be able to learn about different regions based on each NGO’s perspective and how they are impacted by gender equity issues. Students will also engage in group work and discussions to interact with these topics and each other.
