The Love Wins Writing Practice is a safe space for asking questions followed by noticing your own inner guidance and wisdom connection. The way it works is simple. We reflectively listen to the uncomplicated lines of short relatable poem with an intention to notice the line or two that raises the eyebrow or makes the heart quiver and then put pen to page in a timed unfiltered, non-editing write. We move the thinking mind to the shores of observation and watch what the tide delivers from within. Unpacking answers to intentional questions about your first year at Lehigh might take a minute. What does my new friend group look like? What do I need to feel safe here? Am I seen and accepted as I am? Do I accept myself as I am? Perhaps being a new kid on campus makes you feel vulnerable, and you’d like to feel empowered. Let’s bypass overthinking and the analytical mind to uncover your own innate wisdom using an unfiltered and unedited writing experience. And it might be that this moment empowers you over the next four years!
