Homophobia in Greek Life

Event Date

The main goal of Homophobia in Greek life is to break down the barriers between the LGBTQ community and Greek Life. Audience is expected to reflect on their own lives and their own experiences when it comes to the LGBTQ community. Stereotypical views on Greek life is typically that members of the Greek community are homophobic and that can cause people in the LGBTQ community to feel intimidated on interacting with members of Greek life. This is a great opportunity for students to break down barriers together and strengthen two communities.

Brown and White Friday

As a campus tradition, the Lehigh community wears Brown and White every Friday to show school spirit. The ASAs continue to encourage the community to keep up this tradition by hosting a Brown and White Friday promotional table in a central location on campus. Stop by wearing brown and white or any Lehigh University attire for a special prize!

Strategic Adaptability: Navigating Change in your First Year

Event Date

College life brings new challenges and unexpected changes, but with the right strategies and mindset, students can turn these into opportunities for growth and success. This workshop aims to equip students with essential leadership skills, helping them navigate their first year at Lehigh with confidence and resilience. Through a fun, experiential activity, participants will explore the dynamics of change and the challenges they will encounter during their college journey.

Leadership LaUnchpad is a series of stand-alone leadership workshops throughout the Fall semester designed to assist first-year students to cultivate their leadership skills, discover their personal leadership philosophy, and gain knowledge about current leadership trends. Using the 5 bLUeprint foundations as a premise, students will participate in experiential-learning workshops and group discussions to LaUnch into their leadership journey at Lehigh. These workshops count towards the 5x10 requirement and a meal is provided at each workshop. Due to room capacities and food purposes, students must RSVP on LINC.

Get to Know Lehigh Athletics and the LeLaf Rivalry

Event Date

This 5x10 is presented by Lehigh Athletics to present a brief history on Lehigh Athletics, “The Rivalry” and to showcase the Goodman Campus. Attendees will be encouraged to use the Goodman Connector to come to the campus. Upon arrival, a member of the athletic department will greet attendees and provide a short history lesson on Lehigh Athletics, the Lehigh vs. Lafayette Rivalry and talk about other sporting events that occur on the Goodman Campus.
If attendees plan to take the Goodman Connector, they need to plan accordingly to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to kick-off. Drop off location and meeting spot is the Mistele Pavilion in front of Rauch Fieldhouse, across the street from the Ulrich Complex. If attendees come by personal car, they should park in Stabler lots and meet at the pavilion.
Attendees are able to attend the home Women’s Soccer match versus Lafayette at 7pm. Admission is free to all students. Attendees will receive a Rivalry shirt prior to match time.
