Students will be able to learn about the industrial heritage and environmental impact on the Lehigh River Watershed. During this exciting learning experience, students will embark on a virtual river journey through seven locations, guided by animated avatars. The experience aims to provide insights into industrial history and environmental consequences. As newcomers to the Lehigh Valley, this will be an opportunity to learn about the intriguing history of your new home and how these elements continue to be preserved today along the river's watershed. The total time commitment is expected to be between 20 and 40 minutes; bring your laptop.

In the past few years antisemitism, or anti-Jewish hatred, has increased exponentially throughout the world. This course will help you understand its history as well as how it is manifesting today. We will also discuss how to address and combat antisemitism today.
This session is open to all students. You don't need any knowledge of Judaism, and you don't need to belong to any specific religious or cultural identity group.
The session will be based on three brief videos, followed by discussion. The videos will focus on: a brief history of Judaism, a brief history of antisemitism, and an exploration of antisemitism today, including on college and university campuses.
This session will be facilitated by Rabbi Steve Nathan, director of Jewish Student Life and Associate Chaplain, with the assistance of Alec Dron '25.
Given the serious nature of the subject matter, please only sign up if you know that you can attend the entire 90 minute session.
Trigger warning: given the sensitive nature of this topic there will be photos and video clips which you may find disturbing. If you are concerned about that, or anything else, please contact Steve Nathan at spn217@lehigh.edu
