Art Night with Lehigh After Dark

Come out to HST (Health, Science, and Technology building) to the 3rd floor at 8pm on the first Friday of every month (2/2, 3/1, 4/5, 5/3!) for some snacks and a chance t unwind, meet some new friends, and make some art! All art supplies provided while supplies last and project will vary from month to month. Dabke Night

Event Date

Dabke is a Middle Eastern line dance that originated in the Levant area and is often performed at weddings and graduation. With this event, we will explore and educate students about the celebretory aspect of this dance. We will include a short speaking segment to teach students about the origins of the dance, followed by a step by step lesson on how to do the very basic steps. Additionally, we will have music and drums to fully immerse unfamiliar students in a Middle Eastern wedding environment and bring an aspect of home to our club's internal community.

Hong Kong Cafe

Event Date

Hong Kong is a cultural melting pot of East and Western cultures, bets represented the multitudes of tea it offers. Tea Club's Hong Kong Cafe will offer Hong Kong style milk tea and Lemon tea. There will also be a discussion around Hong Kong's history and a lesson in writing Chinese characters.

Take Back The Night

Event Date

Take Back the Night is an annual event hosted by Break the Silence which is designed to create space to acknowledge and support survivors. This year, the night will start outside Lower Cents at the Clery Memorial at 6:30 pm. There will then be a silent march of solidarity to Williams Global Commons. At 7:30 pm we will begin the speak out portion of the night, where we work to build community and provide survivors with a safe and supportive place to share their stories.
