- are 18 years old on or before Election Day
- are registered to vote by the registration deadline of the state you'll be voting in
Yes! As a student attending a college or university in Pennsylvania, you have the choice to register to vote in Pennsylvania or your home state.
You will need to choose one state where you register to vote. You may not be registered to vote in multiple states.
If you are registering to vote in Pennsylvania as a result of being enrolled at Lehigh University, you should use your legal mailing address during your period of enrollment:

You should not use the address for your residence hall. Your mailing address establishes your residency while enrolled as a Lehigh student.
Nope! As a Lehigh student, your polling place is located on campus at 472 Vine.
If you're voting for the first time at your polling location, you will need to bring a valid form of ID. We have them listed on our Voting Resources page.
Lines can be long depending on the time of day you're voting, so we recommend bringing water, snacks, and some way to pass the time!
