Requirements to Host Events with Alcohol

  • The student organization must be recognized by and in good standing with the University at the time the event is scheduled to take place. 
  • A student organization cannot use Student Senate funding to purchase alcohol, controlled substances or drugs. 
  • If the recognized student organization is affiliated with a national/international organization whose risk management policy is more strict than University policy in whole or in part, the student organization must follow the more restrictive policy or provision. 
  • The student organization must comply in all respects with this policy and procedures.
