Fall schedule and sign up: lehigh.edu/go/tbybyoga Trauma-informed yoga is a research proven way to help survivors of trauma deal with their trauma symptoms. It is a combination of focused breathing and mindfulness skills, as well as healing poses. Trauma-informed yoga is an opportunity to learn how to work with your own discomforts. It is a judgement free zone where every participant is able to go at their own pace and skill level. The practice is not meant to be a high cardio or strength testing workout, it focuses on grounding, breathing, and mindfulness with comfortable, stretching poses. Our instructor, Liz Jordon, is certified in trauma-informed practice. The instructor does not leave her own mat and will never touch participants to adjust their pose throughout the practice. It is a space where your body is entirely yours. Students, faculty, and staff of all gender identities at all levels of healing after a trauma are welcome and can benefit from trauma-informed yoga.

Join us for an eco-friendly, Friendsgiving Potluck! All are welcome. Please bring your favorite food, dessert, or drink to share with others. Here's some tips and guidelines we're suggesting; 1) Store everything in reusable tupperware 2) Avoid buying items sold in excessive packaging 3) Don't worry about plates/utensils, we got it! 4) Vegetarian and vegan dishes tend to have a smaller carbon foot print than ones with meat (meat still welcome) 5) Get as creative as you like! Hosted by Green Action, EcoHouse, and Community Growers/Permaculture Park. This event would be a great opportunity to learn more about some student-led green efforts on campus and what it's like living in EcoHouse, a themed housing community that's centered around living more sustainably.
