The demonstration's purpose is to identify student knowledge regarding alcohol and specifically to convey actual versus perceived alcohol consumption of Lehigh students in an effort to make students cognizant of what they are drinking. Renowned activist and comedian Dylan Marron does just that in his hit podcast "Conversations with People Who Hate Me" and will be coming to Lehigh University to share some of his experiences. He has also appeared in a TED talk in which he explains why empathy does not mean endorsing views of an individual. Come out and learn how Dylan conducts these fascinating conversations and learn about the skills it takes to bridge the divide and communicate with people who have opinions different than our own.
