You have made it to one of the most exhilarating experiences of your life…college! College is a time of growth and change for students and their families. During your first year at Lehigh, The Office of the First-Year Experience (OFYE) is here to provide you with resources and support to make your transition a successful one.
The OFYE also plans events throughout the academic year to support your living and learning experiences. We want you to be successful at Lehigh, and we will do everything we can to help keep you on the right track. We are excited you will be joining the Lehigh community and we want to help you make the most out of your experience!
Your first-year experience at Lehigh is named evoLUtion for its definition of a gradual process in which something changes into a different, more complex or better form.
In order to assist in your transition, we have broken down your evoLUtion into three phases:
- Pre-arrival activities and Orientation
- evoLUtion seminar
- 5x10 Program and Events
evoLUtion Seminar and Ropes Course Registration
All first-year students participate in the evoLUtion Seminar experience. As a new student, you will need to select a time for your evoLUtion Seminar and your Ropes Course adventure with your seminar group. The Seminar will meet at least 3 times as a group during the semester and the ropes course will occur the week/weekend of September 9-13, 2015.
We have 69 options for you to select between to register for your seminar and you must be available for BOTH the seminar time and the ropes course time in order to select a section. View the PDF below to find which group fits your schedule. Seminar group meetings are 50 minutes. Once you select a time, this will be your assigned time for the Seminar and ropes course. Please contact the OFYE with any questions.

You may only choose 1 ticket time. If you select more than one ticket time, we will remove all of your entries. Please be sure to pay attention to the specific section you selected and mark the days and times on your calendar!
