During this event, we educate the Lehigh community about the visually impaired community and have people eat blindfolded to experience a small part of what visually impaired people endure every single day. This connects to the goals of our organization because we promote diversity, which includes not only race and ethnicity, but also people that endure various disabilities. We also focus on educating the Lehigh community on various communities that are unfortunately neglected at times. No Lost Generation aims to increase campus awareness about issues such as refugees and migrants. We are collaborating with LUAG to present an event about migrants by showcasing art made by migrants to the local Bethlehem community and to Lehigh students. This event will showcase the art of migrants through the eyes of migrants. We are hoping that this will create discussion and connection between members of the Bethlehem community and Lehigh students. We have a longstanding relationship with the ESL classes at Cathedral Church of the Nativity where many local Bethlehem residents practice English. We have invited the teachers and students at the ESL classes to this event as well as members of our own campus community to build connections between Lehigh University and South Bethlehem. We will also provide light refreshments and pastries to the attendees. The goal of the activity is to produce a collage made by the attendees of the event. We are hoping that this college will reflect collective thought on the migrant/immigrant experience. Hosted by: Lehigh University Art Galleries, No Lost Generation Additional Information can be found at: https://lehigh.campuslabs.com/engage/event/9640715
