Hear true stories of unexplained paranormal activity from anthropologists Drs. Sean & Christine Daley on October 30th at 7 pm at the Haunting from Lehigh University! Visit go.lehigh.edu/haunting to join! Dr. Sean Daley & Dr. Christine Daley of LU's College of Health have spent the past 25 years working with different cultures and communities across North America. They have encountered phenomena that cannot be easily understood and explained through the traditional lenses of Western logic and science including ghosts, spirits, hauntings, and more. This interactive presentation will focus on the American Midwest, including "evidence" of potential ghosts and hauntings.

This event serves as a way of educating and sharing with students the significance of various cultural items, clothings and traditions in an attempt to foster a mutual understanding among individuals of different cultures that will prevent accidental cultural appropriation and promote a genuine understanding of the significance of aspects of another culture. This mutual understanding will thus serve as a way of bridging gaps between different cultures and promote a level of unity amongst students.

Come and learn about the festival of Navratri, its origins, and the significance it holds in Indian culture! There will be a Kahoot to test your knowledge; winners will receive prizes. Afterwards, attendees are invited to learn how to perform the Garba dance, and are encouraged to do so in their living space as a "virtual celebration/party."
