5x10: Pumpkin Pride

Event Date

Formerly known as Rainbow Halloween, Pumpkin Pride is Spectrum's signature event of the fall. Itis an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to learn more about LGBTQ+ culture while celebrating Halloween in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn 5x10 credit while participating in a costume contest, decorating pumpkins, listening to music, and decorating care packages for the Allentown Bradbury-Sullivan LGBTQ+ Center’s LGBT Emergency Services Pantry.

Society of Physics Students Lecture - "Astrophysics: A Nobel Pursuit"

Join Lehigh's Society of Physics Students for an upcoming undergraduate-oriented lecture, titled "Astrophysics: A Nobel Pursuit". Delivered by Lehigh's Professor Virginia McSwain, this lecture will discuss the 2019 Nobel prize in Physics, which was awarded to astrophysicists for work on exoplanet astronomy and physical cosmology, as well as opportunities for Lehigh undergraduates to become involved in astrophysics research. 5x10: Calling the Shots

Event Date

The demonstration's purpose is to identify student knowledge regarding alcohol and specifically to convey actual versus perceived alcohol consumption of Lehigh students in an effort to make students cognizant of what they are drinking. This training will discuss how to raise awareness of the effects of alcohol and explain the bystander effect.
