Students, faculty, and staff are invited to view a poster session and attend a presentation about health-related experiential learning opportunities. Current College of Health students were invited to create a poster highlighting their summer experiences and research in a variety of health-related fields and activities. Whether internships, paid positions, volunteer or research, many of our students have participated in activities over the past summer. We would like to encourage all students to come and learn about health-related learning experiences outside the classroom. Students will have the opportunity to view all posters and to interact with each other about their summer experiences and research. The students will have an opportunity to learn more in depth about a few experiences through a presentation session at the beginning of the event. Wednesday, September 11, 2024 - 6:15am to 7:00am

This year marks the 23th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. While many of us were toddlers, infants, or not even born on 9/11, this tragedy has impacted and will continue to impact all of our lives. Whether you lost a loved one during the attacks, had a family member respond to Ground Zero, a friend serve in the War on Terror or simply wish to pay homage to the lives lost and heroic acts of service that followed, please join us in paying tribute on this day. We invite all Lehigh students to attend a 9/11 memorial event on Wednesday, September 11th at 6:15 AM at the UC Flagpole as we join the Steel Battalion Army ROTC Program for a flag raising ceremony, moment of silence and the planting of American flags to honor the lives lost 23 years ago. It’s an early morning but for a very worthwhile cause. There is no RSVP required but please feel free to contact us through LINC if you have any questions or concerns. Please feel free to extend this invitation to any interested members of the Lehigh community. If you are unable to join us but still wish to pay tribute, we strongly encourage you to visit the 9/11 Museum Website and 9/11 Memorial Timeline and take time to learn about the victims, survivors and heroes who have been memorialized digitally.
