Educational Delay
The Education Delay Program offers ROTC Cadets the opportunity to apply for a delay in the fulfillment of their Active Duty Service Obligation to facilitate continued education in specialized institutions, such as law or medical school. Selection for the program is highly competitive, and candidates will normally apply between the months of May-September prior to their senior year of college.
Fellowships
The Army Fellows Program allows Officers the chance to participate in tightly focused and highly specialized career development and training. Fellowships can range from government postings with Congress or the White House to conducting National Security policy analysis with private organizations like the RAND Arroyo Center. Participation in the program is extremely selective.
