The Lehigh Coffee Club and the Coders Community are going to be co-hosting a Coding Hour on February 4th! We will be serving Java Coffee to fuel the attendees, too! The event will center around a intro-to-Javascript and Java workshop where we teach a number of applications, uses, and extensions to the basic JavaScript. Even those who have never had experience will leave with something tangible, and an idea of what basic programming really looks like! The Lehigh Coffee Club and the Conservation Club are hosting a fundraiser for World Wildlife Fund Australia. We will be on the STEPS Lawn selling 12oz biodegradable cups of hot coffee for $1 -- all proceeds will be directed to World Wildlife Fund Australia. This chapter of the international wildlife conservation organization is accepting donations to care for injured wildlife and, when the fires clear, to plant 10,000 native trees in critical koala habitat, including in "koala triangle," the heartland of Australia's healthiest wild koala populations.
