Singleton, Hitch & Maida (SHM) Houses and McClintic-Marshall House (M&M). SHM Houses is a three building residence hall complex for second year and upper class students. M&M is a residence hall for first year students. SHM and M&M staff is comprised of 27 Gryphons, 2 Head Gryphon and our Assistant Director.

Meet the AD
Sean Miller is one of the Assistant Directors of Residence Life charged with overseeing SHM and M&M. His main area of focus is the Themed Community program here at Lehigh and continuing to develop the idea of residential living environments crafted around a shared student interest, with the intent of building stronger student bonds and campus connectedness.
Sean joined the Office of Residence Life in June 2023. Prior to starting at Lehigh, Sean lived in Virginia while completing a Master’s in College Student Personnel Administration at James Madison University. Originally from New Jersey, Sean studied Politics at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, while serving as a Resident Assistant for three years. While at Catholic U, Sean was an active member of CUAllies, a student-run LGBTQ+ advocacy group. Sean has a passion for supporting students as they transition through their college experience. As a first-generation college student, Sean is especially interested in supporting students who are the first in their families to attend college.
Most of all, Sean is looking forward to joining the Village staff in fostering a safe and supportive learning environment!
