COVID-19 Counseling & Psychological Services Updates

The information below is based on current University recommendations. Additional updates may be necessary as the COVID-19 situation evolves. Please continue to check Lehigh’s website for updated information and this page for the most up-to-date space and activity information.

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak globally and in the United States, and the recent decision of Lehigh University to move to remote instruction for the remainder of the semester, the Counseling Center will remain open but will be limited in the services we provide. Our process for scheduling appointments will also be modified during this period.

To schedule an appointment:

For consultation or counseling, or if you have any questions, please call 610-758-3880, if this number is busy, please call 610-758-5183. For your safety and the safety of our staff, please do not walk into our center without calling first as all appointments are to be scheduled remotely. 

During this time, we will be continuing the following clinical services:

  • Telemental health treatment (counseling and or consultation sessions that occur via phone or videoconference using a variety of technologies).

  • Remote short term therapy and consultation for enrolled students. All sessions will be held via Zoom or Phone.

  • Our services include posted suggestions for managing this Remote Learning period.


All non-essential gatherings of 10 or more people are strongly discouraged, and events for 25 or more individuals are prohibited through at least the end of the academic year on Wednesday, May 13. Organizers should postpone meetings and events, or consider remote technology. This period of time may be extended as needed.
