Students wanting to improve individual performance in the classroom, as well as students finding that other issues are inhibiting academic performance, are encouraged to meet with a member of the Academic Support staff.  We can help assess the situation and make a plan for improvement. We also provide a variety of other services.

Math Study/Help Center

The Math Study/Help Center is located on the third floor of Chandler-Ullmann Hall and is a drop-in tutoring service which is staffed by the Teaching Assistants in the Mathematics Department.  The schedule of operation varies from semester to semester, so please check with the Mathematics Department office in Chandler-Ullmann Hall, Room 210 for current information.

Counseling & Psychological Services

Our services are primarily designed to help students thrive in meaningful ways, to grow in self-understanding in order to make optimal  use of their personal and interpersonal resources. Individual counseling, group therapy, faculty/staff and parent consultation, and numerous outreach activities are some of the primary means by which we attempt to accomplish our mission to serve this community.  We are also devoted to helping students manage the occasional crises that arise at this time of life. Contact counselors Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm or an on-call counselor 24/7 for crisis situations by calling (610-758-3880).

Equal Opportunity Compliance Coordinator/Title IX Coordinator

Lehigh University is committed to preventing and addressing discrimination and harassment, including sexual harassment and misconduct, in its campus community. The Equal Opportunity Compliance Coordinator (EOCC), who is also Lehigh’s Title IX Coordinator, is a resource for all Lehigh students on issues relating to bias, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual misconduct.  The EOCC responds to these incidents, implements supportive measures, connects impacted individuals with support resources, and works with other Lehigh offices to foster a safe and inclusive environment.

Health Advancement & Prevention Strategies coordinates the National College Health Assessment, Lehigh InSTALLments, Peer Health Advisor Training, Bystander Intervention Programming, Lehigh After Dark, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Training and other preventative activities focusing on priority student health issues such as alcohol and other drugs, sleep difficulties, stress, sexual health, providing a healthy and safe living-learning community.
