Actions to take in a medical emergency 

In the case you are having a medical emergency while the Health & Wellness Center is closed, please take one of the following actions: 

  1. If you are on Lehigh's campus, call the Lehigh University Police Department (LUPD) at: 610-758-4200

  2. If you are not on Lehigh's campus, call the Police Department at: 911 

 

Lehigh University students who are experiencing a medical emergency and feel they cannot wait to be evaluated when the Health & Wellness Center is open may choose to utilize one of the following emergency rooms: 

  1. St. Luke's University Hospital 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 484-526-4500 (*this is the closet emergency room to Lehigh's campus at 1.2 miles away from the University Center)

  2. Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg 2545 Schoenersville Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18017 484-884-2201

How to contact the Health & Wellness Center after hours 

By calling the Health & Wellness Center's main phone number 610-758-3870 you can get in touch with our clinician-on-call. When you call our line after hours, you will get in touch with our answering service. Please provide them with your name and phone number and you will receive a call back from our clinician-on-call. This will put you in touch with a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or physician who works at the Health & Wellness Center.
