Welcome to Student Center Operations

You are here

Here at Lehigh, we offer you two unique Student Center facilities:  the Clayton University Center and Lamberton Hall.  Student Centers are considered to be the “hearthstone” of the campus, the gathering place for students, faculty, staff, and guests. It is on this principle that we strive throughout both facilities to offer programs, activities, and services that will cultivate and enhance the living and learning experiences in our comfortable and inviting environments.

For the next two years, until summer of 2025, offices formerly located in the Clayton UC have been temporarily relocated to Christmas Saucon.

The Clayton University Center at Packer Hall was originally named Packer Hall and is rich in history.  This iconic building, the first structure specifically built for Lehigh in 1868 by university founder Asa Packer and expanded and renovated in 1956, will begin extensive renovations to the iconic building.  When completed, it will create a dynamic environment for student life while preserving the building’s historic grandeur.  Please click here to read more about our project.  For the next two years, until spring 2023, offices formerly located in the Clayton UC have been temporarily relocated to Christmas Saucon.

Lamberton Hall re-opened after an extensive renovation in February of 2006.  This building provides additional social and programming space for our Lehigh community.  The first floor offers large programming and event space, and the adjacent Hawk’s Nest eatery offers late-night dining.  The mezzanine level houses our game room equipped with gaming systems, billiards, and air hockey.  While the Clayton UC undergoes extensive renovations, Lamberton Great Room will continue to offer space for events, programs, and activities. Our professional and student staff are available to ensure that your event is a success.

As you explore our website, we hope that you discover useful information about our facilities and services, find value in our guides for event planning, and take advantage of the available activities and programs.
