How to Make a Learning and Study Skills Appointment

Individual Appointments

Whether you are looking for a way to better manage your time or you want to develop a detailed plan for academic success for the semester, the Center for Academic Success can help! We offer free study skills assistance for students via one-on-one appointments with our study skills consultant. Often students are looking for just one meeting, but we do see a number of students every semester who enjoy a regular weekly or bi-weekly appointment with our consultant.

We can assist students with many academic-related concerns, including:

Workshops for Student Groups

The Center conducts study skills workshops for residence halls, fraternities and sororities, athletic teams, clubs and organizations. Workshops can be conducted here in the Center, however, the majority of our study skills workshops are conducted off-site. We will come to you! Workshops typically last about an hour. Workshop topics include: Note Taking & Textbook Reading Skills, Test Preparation, Test Taking & Test Anxiety, Goal Setting & Motivation, and many more! To request your workshop, simply complete this study skills workshop request form.  Our study skills coordinator will contact you in order to discuss your request and arrange your workshop.
