The Academic Success and Writing Center at Lehigh offers one-on-one 30 minute consultations for students, graduate students, staff, and faculty to work on their writing with an English Department graduate student. We have appointments available in person, by video chat, and through paper submissions. These sessions aim to support all consultees in improving their writing process, understanding the rhetorical situation of their piece, and strengthening their writing skill sets. We work with any kind of writing at any stage of the writing process, so we encourage all to come multiple times during their writing process—from brainstorming to final revisions. We hope to see you soon!
You may email the center at incent@lehigh.edu to request accommodations (e.g. accessible space, etc.).
All of our scheduling is handled through WCOnline. You can register here to access our online scheduling system. Once you’ve registered, you’ll have access to schedule your appointments.
Yes. While we’re happy to accommodate a walk-in appointment if we have someone available, we often book days in advance, so we recommend scheduling to ensure a tutor is available for you. You can book two weeks in advance and can attend twice per week, but you can only have one appointment scheduled at a time.
You can have up to two appointments per week. However, you must complete your first appointment before you can sign up for your second appointment.
All tutoring in the center is included in your tuition, so there’s no additional charge.
